ProActive Shari'a Monitoring™

• For certain assets classes and transaction types, i.e. for illiquid and large transactions, transaction proactive Shari'a monitoring is essential.
• Dar Al Istithmar’s ProActive Shari’a Monitoring™ services include reviewing proposed transactions for Shari'a compliance prior to the transaction being initiated.

Periodic Shari'a Monitoring

• We also review transactions as agreed in the development phase at periodic intervals to determine whether the screening process, as per the approved screening methodology, has been followed.
• Subject to successful completion of the Shari’a monitoring, an “Opinion on Shari’a Compliance” for each monitoring period is issued which is signed by our Shari’a Scholars.
